RELEVANT and REAL

My friends, this is huge: Relevant Magazine published my article!

I appreciate their work so much because they take the things of God and make them, well, relevant. And this is always – always - our ministry’s aim, too. 

If you have been alienated or felt misunderstood especially by your Christian community, please take time to read the article. Relevant’s people told us, “We absolutely love this piece. It’s so raw and honest.” 

That’s another aim of this ministry - to be raw and honest.  

I wonder if being raw and honest, or real, is far too rare that it totally unsettles those around us. It rocks them. Christians are far too used to securing the spiritual lid. 

But raw and honest is where we live, especially these days. 

Over these last nine months of severe grief in losing our David, we have experienced difficulty and complications with people we love, but you don’t need to be hurt further when you’re wrecked by life’s hardships. I pray this article speaks into that for you.
